Ventura GOP Statement on Jeff Gorell’s Strong Fundraising Position

Ventura County Republican Party Chairman Mike Osborn issued the following statement regarding Republican Jeff Gorell’s strong year-end financial reporting and Democrat Ferial Masry’s reporting of $0 in contributions other than from herself for her 37th Assembly District campaign:

GOP Assembly Candidate Jeff Gorell Raises $234,000

Jeff Gorell, a Republican who is running to succeed Audra Strickland in the California State Assembly 37th District, posted fundraising figures for 2009.  His finance reports showed that he had raised more than $234,000 in 2009 and had $186,000 in the bank as of Dec 31.
