Ventura GOP Endorses Eric Early for U.S. Senate
January 25, 2024
Thousand Oaks, Calif. – The Ventura County Republican Party voted to endorse Eric Early for United States Senate last night at the organization’s January meeting.
Early received the required two-thirds majority to earn the party’s endorsement after the party’s Central Committee, an elected body made up of residents from each of the County’s five supervisorial districts, heard from seven of the ten Republican candidates for the seat formerly held by Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein. All ten Republican candidates had been invited to address the organization last evening.
“I believe that our members recognize that the Republican Party needs a strong candidate to stand up to the progressive forces of the Democrat Party in November, and the fact that so many of them support the endorsement of Eric Early clearly says that he is the best candidate to do that,” said John Andersen, Chairman of the Ventura County Republican Party.
“Eric is the Republican best positioned to beat Adam Schiff, Katie Porter and Barbara Lee,” he continued.
“Our members appreciated hearing Eric’s unwavering commitment to the conservative principles which have made our country great and I am proud to say that the Ventura County Republican Party encourages all voters to support Eric Early for United States Senate,” he concluded.
Upon receiving the Ventura GOP endorsement, Early said, “I am honored to receive the Ventura County Republican Party’s important endorsement for US Senate. Ventura County, like the rest of our state, is populated with people who love our glorious country and who know what must be done to stop our nation’s precipitous decline.”
“I will always fight for ‘We the People’ and I am grateful that great people continue to stand with me, regardless of who else has entered this critically important race and who the media is working to anoint to send to Washington, D.C.,” Early concluded.
